Autostrade dello Stato acquires the stakes held by ANAS in four strategic motorway companies.

Autostrade dello Stato S.p.A. has today completed the acquisition from ANAS S.p.A. of the stakes held in the following toll motorway companies:

• 50% di Concessioni Autostradali Venete – CAV S.p.A.
• 35% di Autostrada Asti – Cuneo S.p.A.
• 32,125% della Società Italiana per Azioni per il Traforo del Monte Bianco – SITMB
• 31,75% della Società Italiana Traforo Autostradale del Fréjus – SITAF S.p.A.

The operation, pursuant to Legislative Decree No. 121/2021 and Legislative Decree No. 155/2024, is aimed at implementing the objectives of rationalizing the state-owned motorway assets established by the relevant legislation and at consolidating the activities of Autostrade dello Stato S.p.A., a company wholly owned by the Ministry of Economy and Finance and operating in-house under the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport.

The acquisition is valued at €342.5 million, based on the book value of the transferred stakes.

Through the four acquired companies, Autostrade dello Stato will promote innovative motorway services, sustainable mobility, and network safety, supporting the country’s infrastructure growth and improving the travel experience for users through advanced technological solutions and increasingly modern and efficient infrastructure.
